The Anne Arundel County Council will begin hearings on the General Development Plan Monday. Here’s what you need to know.

The plan seeks to “promote vibrant, high-quality development” in town centers in Glen Burnie, Odenton and Parole. For Glen Burnie, it’s set to be developed with community input and implemented in the midterm, within five to 10 years, according to the plan. Success will be measured by tracking the number of projects, residential units, square feet of development, and public and private investment in the town center.
